Youth Instructors

Robert Arieas holds a Master of Fine Arts in printmaking, drawing, and painting from California State University, Fullerton. He worked at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for eight years. While working there he was exposed to amazing contemporary and classical art. He has taught elementary through high school students for several years. Currently, he works in special education at a local middle school. He has actively been exhibiting his work for over 20 years.

Linda Dixon began painting while living in Italy in 1992. She has a BFA in studio art from the University of Central Oklahoma.  She has taught many people how to paint for the first time and many more have improved their skills under her instruction.

Belinda Moffit is a portrait painter with a passion to capture the essence of each person she paints. She is a self-taught artist primarily using classical techniques learned in the Philippines. Pulling from her own art journey, Belinda will teach both classic drawing techniques as well as some of the tricks she’s learned along the way.

Elementary Arts Outreach Program

The Elementary Arts Outreach Program brings visual arts to 5th grade students by providing access to Rogue Gallery, Rogue Studio, and bringing art instructors to their classrooms for monthly art lessons throughout the school year. Students learn foundational skills in the visual arts, art history and art appreciation. Thanks to the Reed and Carolee Walker Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation, Anna May Family Foundation, U.S. Bank Foundation, business sponsorship, and individual donor support. Through their support Rogue Gallery & Art Center is able to offer the Elementary Arts Outreach program.
